Notes:

The Fraser/Cole signature combination with a serial prefix of QPG were the last five dollar notes printed for circulation prior to the introduction of circulation five dollar polymer notes in 1992.

The note was included in three different First & Last $5 banknote folders: 17,000 in Embossed Deluxe Folders, 30,000 in Standard Souvenir Folders and 350 in Staff Folders released by Note Printing Australia.

In 1997, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the release of Australia's $5 decimal banknote, Note Printing Australia included this note in 1,000 'Famous Fives' Premium $5 Note Trios and 1,500 'Famous Fives' Deluxe $5 Note Trios. The note was overprinted in red in the premium folder, and in black in the deluxe folder, with the original date of issue for the series - 29 May 1967.
