Notes:

Black Serial, Lord Howard Florey $50 paper notes with the HF serial prefix were not released individually. Australia Post and Note Printing Australia combined to produce a banknote/postage stamp collector issue when they released the Howard Florey Deluxe Portfolio. Fraser/Evans paper $50 notes were used with the unusual two letter HF prefix replacing the three letter prefix previously used on the by then replaced paper notes.

The first 1,000 sets contained notes with a red serial number. The remaining 2,500 between HF 001000 and 003500 were printed with black serial numbers.
