Notes:
Black Serial and Overprint Macfarlane/Evans Twenty Dollar notes with the serial number prefix ES were not issued for circulation. They were included in 2,000 Deluxe Portfolio Note/Stamp folders to pay tribute to the people performing Emergency Services work throughout Australia.
The first 1,000 notes released were printed with red serial numbers and overprint. The next 2,000 - from ES 97 001001 to ES 97 003000 were printed with black serial numbers and overprint.
