Continuing its annual release program, Note Printing Australia issued notes with the early serial numbers for the year to the collector market in specially prepared folders.
The first 900 notes released - from AA 97 000101 to AA 97 001000 were printed with red serial numbers and distributed in a 'Premium' Folder.
The 1997 Macfarlane/Evans $10 Polymer note with Red serials was also included in 2 uncut sheet issues - 1,000 Premium Blocks of 4 and a further 1,000 Premium Pairs.
