Notes:
In 1994, Note Printing Australia began the practice of incorporating the year of manufacture as part of the serial number - the two digits following the first two letters in the prefix. For the collector market, the first serial numbers each year are issued in specially prepared folders.
| The second batch of notes - 9,000 notes with serial numbers from AA 94 001001 to AA 94 010000 were printed with blue serial numbers and distributed in what was called a 'Deluxe' Folder.
While each 1994 $10 Deluxe Folder was released individually, collectors were given the opportunity to acquire one of each of the 1994 deluxe collector folders - $5 and $10 - with matching serial numbers. | |
