Notes:The references shown in parentheses in the above table are those of Michael P Vort-Ronald - 'Australian Banknotes', 1979.All issued Commonwealth of Australia one hundred pound notes feature the Upper Yarra River in Victoria and Leura Falls in New South Wales on the back. The design was taken from the original prize-winning entry for the Five Pound note. In some references, the waterfalls are incorrectly stated to be located in Queensland and South Australia. Approximately 553,000 one hundred pound notes were released in the entire issue period between 1914 and 1945.
