2001
6 Coin Mint Set

This set represents the annual release by the Royal Australian Mint of Australia's circulating coins. The 2001 set consists of six coins:
  • Five Cents,
  • Ten Cents,
  • Twenty Cents,
  • Federation Fifty Cents,
  • Federation Dollar and
  • Two Dollars.

    • The sets were released with the six coins being housed, sealed in a fold-out see-both-sides, colourful presentation bubble pack and enclosed in a colourful protective envelope.

    Notes:

    The colour used in the reverse designs of the proof 50c and dollar coins does not appear on the uncirculated versions.

    An error 2001 mint set exists which contains a 2000 dated dollar coin. Valuations are shown in the table at right.
