Notes:
Little is known about the token coinage used in Australian Internment Camps during World War I. The first camp was established near Liverpool, then an outer suburb of Sydney, N.S.W. Approximately 7,000 'aliens' were accommodated at the camp at various times during the 4 years that the war lasted.
