![]() | Notes:Both the specimen and proof versions of this coin were encapsulated and distributed in a plush red velvet, hinged lid presentation case protected by a colourful cardboard box. The reverse design features the Floral Emblem of South Australia, the Sturt Desert Pea (Clianthus formosus), and is the fourth in a nine coin $100 Floral Emblem series issued between 1995 and 2003. Of the 2,500 minted, the Canberra Mint commissioned 500 of the proof $100 coins to be made into pieces of jewellery - pendants set in an 18 carat gold, bamboo style frame. |
