No mintage figures were reported by the Melbourne mint in 1907. It is thought that the mintage figure for 1908 was a combined figure for the two years.
The designers initials 'BP' (Benedetto Pistrucci) do not appear on the reverse of issues dated 1902, 1903 and on some half sovereigns dated 1904.
