Notes:

One uniface (reverse) specimen is known to exist in the Royal Mint (UK) collection. Like the unique 1899 perth mint half sovereign, the origin of this piece is unknown. It is not mentioned in the Perth Branch Appendix of the Royal Mint's 1906 Annual Report. Because of it's location, it is likely that it was struck at the Royal Mint in London where the die was manufactured.
