 | During 1937 and 1938, various new reverse designs were considered for the Australian halfpenny. Two of the designs, neither of which got any further than the drawing board, are a platypus and a boiling billy on a campfire. The original designs are now located in the National Archives in Canberra (series CP4/5, items 20 and 21). |  |
