Notes:
Issued to mark the 50th anniversary of the Federation of the States of Australia, inaugurated in 1901.
In 1995, the design on the reverse of the coin was used as a privy mark on a 1995 2oz silver bullion coin.
In 1998, the Canberra mint released a .999 Silver Florin/Twenty Cents frosted proof coin with a reverse design struck from a modified die used for the production of the 1951 Federation florin reverse.
