Issued in May, 2000, this coin is the last in a 16 Coin Sydney 2000 Silver Proof Collection produced jointly by the Royal Australian Mint in Canberra and the Perth Mint.10,000 of the coins offered were included in a 3 coin mixed metal Olympic proof set and a further 3,000 were included in a 24-coin Olympic Millennium Collection. The coin was also included in an 8-Coin Olympics Fauna & Flora Collection and in 1,500 2 Coin Silver Kookaburra 1oz proof sets.
