Known Varieties & Errors (References are to Andrews):

A-681 Obverse: Crest of Australian Arms with rising sun, Kangaroo to left, Emu to right. ADVANCE AUSTRALIA on scroll beneath. Round legend, 1854 at bottom, within beaded rim. Emu's tail points to L of WALES.
Reverse: Large 3 shaped from oak leaf branch surmounted by rising sun. SILVER to left & TOKEN to right. 1854 at bottom within beaded rim.
A-682 Obverse: As for A-681.
Reverse: Smaller 3 with straight, horizontal top and tail of loop ending in a knob. J.C.T. replaces 1854 at bottom.
A-683 Obverse: Legend NEW SOUTH WALES is contracted with Emu's tail pointing to E of WALES.
Reverse: As for A-682.
A-684 Obverse: As for A-681 & A-682.
Reverse: Large 3 with wavy horizontal top and tail of loop ending in a point. No initials or date at bottom.
