Known Varieties & Errors (References are to Andrews):

A-660 Obverse: Head of Professor facing left in center with PROFESSOR to left, HOLLOWAY to right and LONDON below, round within indented rim. Makers name (J Moore) is incuse on neck truncation. Front of truncation is a sharp point ending just to left of L in LONDON. Double tuft of hair at back of neck.
Reverse: Hygeia seated on throne. HOLLOWAY'S PILLS AND OINTMENT round above inside indented rim. 1857 in exergue.
A-661 Obverse: As for A-660 but point of neck truncation does not pass L in LONDON and triple tuft of hair at back of neck.
Reverse: As for A-660.
A-662 Obverse: As for A-660 but with a dot before curl of hair on forehead. Point of truncation is past L in LONDON and triple tuft of hair at back of neck protruding entirely from head.
Reverse: As for A-660.
A-663 Obverse: As for A-660 but with a dot before curl of hair on forehead. Point of truncation is past L in LONDON and triple tuft of hair at back of neck is thicker, protruding from both neck and head.
Reverse: As for A-660.
A-664 Obverse: As for A-660 but there is a dot after PROFESSOR and the point of truncation does not quite reach start of LONDON.
Reverse: As for A-660.
A-665 Obverse: As for A-660 but makers name is in relief on neck truncation.
