STOKES & MARTIN at left and MELBOURNE at right in small letters. Head of kangaroo is below N of JOHN. Reverse: Building in center with ONE PENNY TOKEN round, above and 1874 in a straight line below, all within a plain inner circle. PACKENHAM STREET above and FREEMANTLE . W. A. below, round between inner circle and beaded rim. N of TOKEN rests on roof of building. A light impression of an erased F before FREEMANTLE remains. |
