Notes:
Issued in 1849, this was the first regular token to be released in Australia.
This variety has eleven leaves on the olive branch held in Britannia's right hand on the reverse. The design was originally prepared by Conrad Kuchler for the 1806 English penny and appears on pattern proof version of that coin.
