| The 1996 Parkes sterling silver proof dollar with interrupted edge milling was sold through the Royal Australian Mint mailing list and selected numismatic dealers. The coin commemorates the 100th anniversary of the death of Sir Henry Parkes. It was distributed, encapsulated, in a square black leatherette, hinged lid case protected by a special presentation box. |  |
