Notes:

The 1993 Landcare dollar was originally available only at the Royal Australian Mint in Canberra for $2 in a special landcare envelope. However, a coin shortage led to the release of 15 million dollar coins into general circulation.
To help raise awareness of water quality issues, the Royal Australian Mint, Landcare Australia and BBC Hardware combined to initiate a 'Clean Rivers' project which was partially funded by the release of the Landcare Dollar coin mounted, unsealed, on special see-both-sides cardboard presentation sheet.
This coin was included as part of a 6 coin proof set and two 6 coin mint sets (Normal and Gumnut) released by the Canberra mint.
