Notes:
This coin was included as part of a 6 coin proof set and a 6 coin mint set. An uncirculated version was included in a One Dollar Five Coin Set released by the Royal Australian Mint, Canberra.The mint also struck 13,996 individual specimen aluminium bronze 1992 dollar coins on a 'mint your own' press. The coins were inserted into one of two wallets, the first showing the Mint building and the second an Olympic illustration. The coins sold for $2.

| A small number of proof aluminium bronze 1992 dollar coins were struck as a special promotion to highlight Women in Sport. The coins were encapsulated in a cylindrical plastic case and, when the promotion was abandoned, they were sold through the Royal Australian Mint shop. |  |
