In 1997, the 60th anniversary of the issue of the 1937 crown was celebrated by the Perth Mint with the release of a privy marked 2 ounce silver bullion coin.
In 1998, the Canberra mint released a .999 Silver Crown/Fifty Cents frosted proof coin with a reverse design struck from a modified die used for the production of the 1937 crown reverse.
