1998 6 Coin, 5 Note Collection |

This limited issue portfolio of 1,000 sets, distributed by Note Printing Australia with the assistance of the Royal Australian Mint, is the second official release of a complete collection of Australia's currency notes and coins. The first issue in 1997 contained specimen quality coins. This second issue contains proof quality coins. The five polymer notes in the set are : $100, $50, $20, $10 and $5. The six proof coins are: $2, $1, 50c Bass & Flinders, 20c, 10c and 5c. The collection is housed in a specially designed, embossed presentation portfolio incorporating a hand numbered Certificate of Authenticity. The notes, especially printed for the set, incorporate the prefix 'ZZ98', with each note having a matched serial number. Serial numbers started from 999999 and decended to 999000. The first portfolio contains the notes numbered ZZ98999999. Valuation :
