This limited issue portfolio of 1,500 sets, distributed by Note Printing Australia with the assistance of the Royal Australian Mint, is the first official release of a complete collection of Australia's currency notes and coins. The five notes in the set are : $100, $50, $20, $10 and $5. The six uncirculated coins are: $2, $1 (Large Head), 50c, 20c, 10c and 5c. The collection is housed in a specially designed presentation portfolio incorporating a hand numbered Certificate of Authenticity with the title embossed in silver foil. The notes, especially printed for the set, incorporate the prefix 'ZZ97', with each note having a matched serial number. Serial numbers started from 999999 and decended to 998500. The first portfolio contains the notes numbered ZZ97999999. Valuation :

There are significant premiums on low numbered collections. The following table provides an estimate of the value of the first collection which raised $2,700 for charity when it was initially offered for sale.
