Notes:

Limited to an issue of 30,000, the individual version of this coin was housed encapsulated in a black, hard plastic, hinged-lid presentation case and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

A further 350 square kookaburra coins were included in 5 coin proof sets released by the Perth Mint.

At the ANDA coin shows held in Sydney and Brisbane in April and May, 2003 respectively, the Perth Mint released a 'Square Deal Show Special' penny concept set featuring a half ounce square kookaburra accompanied by two pennies. The first was a George V penny from the period 1911-1936 while the second was an Elizabeth II penny struck between 1953 and 1964.

A total of 1,500 concept sets were released, with 500 reserved for sale to Perth Mint mail order customers by ballot. The three coins were housed, encapsulated, in a green leatherette, hinged-lid presentation case.
