 | The specimen coin has a 'reverse frosting' finish where the field is frosted to contrast with the highly polished raised design. It was distributed encapsulated and mounted on a colourful see-both-sides cardboard card protected by a plastic sleeve. |  |
 | In a repeat of the previous year, a proof version of the one ounce silver skippy dollar coin was also released. The proof has frosted designs with mirror fields and was housed, encapsulated in a official plush green velvet hinged-lid case, protected by a colourful presentation box. |  |
