The Gold Coast has become synonymous with an idyllic Australian way of life - golden beaches, golden sun and life by the sea. Situated just a short drive south of Brisbane, the Gold Coast's beaches extend southwards to the Queensland/New South Wales border. The fabulous tropical weather, great location and wonderful variety of water sports all make the Gold Coast a major tourist attraction, popular all year round with local and international visitors. The privy design depicts a young surfer riding one of the many powerful waves that roll in from the Pacific Ocean and break along the Gold Coast's beaches. In the background is one of the many luxury hotels which line the coast and cater for visitors from all over the world.
