The 1998 two ounce Shield 1871 Sovereign Privy Kookaburra on Fence $2 silver coin was released at the Australian Numismatic Dealers Association (ANDA) Brisbane Coin Fair in May, 1998. The coin carries a privy mark on a gold inlay which depicts a design commemorating the Shield 1871 Sovereign. The coin is part of a 4 coin privy mark set released by the Perth Mint at various coin shows throughout 1998.
