| The 1997 two ounce Kookaburra & Chick $2 silver coin was issued in a special black leatherette presentation case, accompanied by an individually numbered Silver Medallion at the National Coin, Stamp and Phonecard Show held in Perth in August, 1997. The coin carries no privy mark while the medallion portrays an overlaping 1943 penny and halfpenny pair in high relief with coloured highlights to clearly portray the pre-decimal coins. |  |
