Notes:At the Fremantle Stamp Show held in October, 1997, the Perth Mint released a limited edition of 500 coin & medallion sets. The set consisted of a standard 1997 one ounce specimen Kookaburra & Chick $1 silver coin accompanied by a 1 ounce pure silver medallion, featuring the famous Western Australian 1854 Black Swan Penny Stamp.The medallion has been treated to display an antique finish. The pair are housed in a black leatherette, hinged-lid presentation case. |
