Notes:

The 1991 one ounce Kookaburra on Tree Branch $5 silver coin was included in two sets - 116 in a 3 coin 1oz Mixed Metal proof set and a further 1,424 in a 3 coin Mini Mixed Metal proof set released by the Perth mint.

The individual coin was issued encapsulated on a semi-rigid card and enclosed in a black leatherette wallet.

At the Coin Fair held in Sydney during November 1991, a limited edition issue of 1,500 1oz proof coins were sold, each accompanied by a specially numbered certificate. Valuation details of this coin issue are shown in the following table:
