The 1997 one ounce Two Emus $40 palladium coin was distributed, encapsulated, in a black, lacquered presentation case and accompanied by a serial-numbered certificate. It was also included in 100 4 coin 1oz Mixed Metal proof sets released by the Perth mint. This coin is the final release in a series of 3 Palladium Emu coins comprising a thematic progression 3 year type set.
