Notes: The 1998 twentieth ounce Grey Kangaroo Joey $5 gold coin was issued as a Heritage Set accompanied by a small natural alluvial gold nugget weighing between 0.47 and 0.77 grams. Both the coin and nugget were individually encapsulated and presented in a serially numbered gift pack. The coin was also included in 2 sets: 375 in 5 coin proof sets and 700 in 3 coin Mini Mixed Metal proof sets released by the Perth mint.
