The reverse design of this coin celebrates the discovery, in New South Wales in 1887, of the Jubilee gold nugget.The 1988 tenth ounce Jubilee $15 gold coin was not issued individually. It was included in two sets - 8,180 in a 4 coin proof set and a further 1,276 in a 2 coin proof set released by the Perth mint.
