The reverse design of this coin celebrates the discovery, in Western Australia in 1890, of the Little Hero gold nugget.The 1986 tenth ounce Little Hero $15 gold coin was not issued individually. It was included in two sets - 12,000 in a 4 coin proof set and a further 3,000 in a 2 coin proof set released by the Perth mint.
